The Hollywood Sign Experience is a proposed viewing deck below the Hollywood Sign. The proposal will provide tourists a definitive way to get close to the sign without resorting to meandering around and contesting local residential neighborhoods. The Experience would connect to and compliment the Warner Bros. Studio Tour at an existing Warner parking structure on Forest Lawn Drive.
This map shows possible connections from the Warner Bros. parking structure to the new deck. As this is already part of Griffith Park, pedestrian access via the existing trail system could complement the gondola or tram system similar to the viewing experience of Christ the Redeemer in Rio de Janeiro.
The concept is under development by Warner Bros. and a team of Landscape Architects.
